Chalcopyrite pseudomorph after chalcocite

These unusual pseudomorphs were found in the 1980's for a short time at Judkins quarry in the West Midlands. This is a fine example of chalcopyrite thought to be after acicular chalcocite with crystals up to 10mm associated with a little calcite and sugary barite.
