Cerussite generally is not common from Weardale but a find in Redburn mine produced some very interesting specimens. This is a miniature from that find with sharp crystals to about 4mm formed on both the back and front of the specimen. Traces of copper secondaries are dotted in-between the cerussite probably from remnant chalcopyrite.
