Alchuri, Shigar Valley, Northern Areas, Pakistan

Pakistan has produced some pleasing diopside in recent years and this is a particularly fine specimen. Numerous gemmy transparent crystals up to 12mm produce a rich green display of diopside with smaller crystals continuing on to the underside of the specimen.
