Sidi Lahcen Mine, Djebel Ouichane, Segangane, Nador, Morocco
963
Sidi Lahcen Mine has produced some stunning blue barite in recent years somewhat over shadowing these 'floaters' that i found amazing when i saw them at the Munich show. The crystals on this specimen are sharp with mirror bright faces, most in parallel orientation with only a small area of attachment.. Colour graduates from off-white at the base/middle to a dark straw at the tip of the specimen.
