Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Ulanhad League, Inner Mongolia, China

From a find of unusual fluorite at the Huanggang mine a few years ago. The complex fluorite crystals are cubic with curved octohedral modifications. Colour wise they appear dark and opaque viewed in some lights but in other show a vivid translucent blue colour. A choice aesthetic example from the find.
