Barstow's opencut produced some rich and unusual specimens of pyromorphite. At the east end a stretch of the South lode produced a botroydial variety and this specimen is from there. The pyromorphite crystals are curved forming spheres and vary in colour from a bright lustrous green to a matt lemon. Ex. Steve Uttley collection.
