Anglesite

Dry Pry Mine, Wolsingham, Weardale, Co. Durham, England

Anglesite is not common in Weardale and this mine is one of the few where it occurs. This specimen found in the 1980's has a 35x30mm area of classic 'chisel' shaped anglesite crystals on a quartz/galena matrix, with one particularly large crystal 6mm long.
