Force Crag Mine, Coledale, Keswick, Cumbria, England
558
Native silver is rarely found in the North of England, Force Crag mine being one of the few localities where it can be found in small quantites. This specimen has a number of bright native silver dendrites formed with a little cerussite on a limonite stained quartz veinstone. Although better with magnification the silver can be seen with the naked eye.
