Koksha Valley, Badakhshan Province, Afghanistan

One of the gemmiest phlogopite crystals i have seen coming from the find about 8 years ago. The crystals at one end of the specimen are in approx parallel growth, the dominant crystal being 10x7mm in size and all completly transparent across the crystal but near opaque looking down it.
