Unusual calcite specimen from this famous mine. The larger crystals have formed along the edge of the specimen and elongated in the same direction. The underlying quartz crystals are dusted with small calcite and on the rear there are cubic negative epimorphs suggesting earlier fluorite that has dissolved away.
