Sharp velverty malachite pseudomorph after azurite with crystals up to 15mm long, Milpillas mine is proving to be an outstanding contemporary locality for these pseudomorphs and is one of the mines featured in the recent (Jan/Feb 2025) Mineralogical Record Vol.56, with similar examples to this illustrated on pages 39-41.
