Loanhead Quarry, Beith, Ayrshire, Scotland

Analcime does occurs at Loanhead quarry but not normally in good sized well formed crystals. This specimen from the quarry and previously in the Gordon Todd collection has crystals to 10mm giving a rich coverage across most of the display face of the specimen.
