Worton Hall mine, Bainbridge, Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, England
2178
Bed of translucent fluorite cubes with sulphide inclusions and strong colour zoning resembling specimens from the nearby Seata mine. Rare to get specimens from this location in North Yorkshire and unusually for the location one crystal on this specimen shows twinning. Relativily undamaged specimen given that this and all other recent finds have been from a surface tip.
