St. Peter's Mine, Spartylea, East Allendale, Northumberland
2176
St. Peter's mine in East Allendale was worked for specimens in the 1990's with some fine fluorites coming out sometimes associated with quartz and siderite. This choice display specimen is from that operation to recover specimens. Essentially a rib of fluorite, not quite a 'floater', displaying yellow cubes with gemmy edges, up to 40mm across. Ex.
