Fluorite

Blackdene mine, Ireshopeburn, Weardale, Co. Durham, England

1551

One of the unusual coloured fluorite specimens that Blackdene mine occasionally produced. The interlocking cubes up to 21mm across show a pastel green interior surrounded by a narrow purple band and a clear outer zone.   I've only seen this colour combination from Blackdene.
