Strontianite

Priscilla Level, Gunnerside Gill, Swaledale, North Yorkshire, England

Strontianite is only found sparingly in the North of England this thumbnail being collected underground in the 1990's. The specimen is triangular in shape with two of the sides covered in well formed strontianite crystals. Mounted in a 6x4cm 'josie' box.
