Cerussite

Redburn Mine, Rookhope, Weardale, Co. Durham, England

Cerussite generally is not common from Weardale but a find in Redburn mine produced some very rich specimens. This is one of them with interlocking crystals probably of two generations. As with most pieces from this find the cerussite is coated in places with limonite and traces of copper minerals.
